On February 27 legendary underground southern rap group Goodie Mob will be playing club Nokia. This will definitely be a great night of uncompromising "baller" music: sweet rhymes, floor shaking beats, and the vocal stylings of Gnarles Barkley's Cee-lo.

Inspirational Music Quotes

Here are some of my favorite quotes about music. Enjoy and feel free to post your own!

"If music be the food of love, play on;
Give me excess of it, that, surfeiting,
The appetite may sicken, and so die.
That strain again! it had a dying fall:
O, it came o'er my ear like the sweet sound
That breathes upon a bank of violets,
Stealing and giving odor!"
- William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night

Frederica von Stade

If you are planning on seeing the famous Mezzo-Soprano Frederica von Stade, on March 4th at Oxy... you can get your tickets ahead of time. You may purchase tickets directly from the Music Department office in upper booth for $10 (saving $1.50 in processing fees).
