The 10th Annual Newport Jazz Festival is Coming!

The 10th annual Newport Beach Jazz Festival will take place over Valentine's/President's Weekend, Feb. 11-14 at the Marriott Newport Beach Hotel & Spa. Over 80 artists are in the lineup, including Ken Peplowski, Dave Frishberg, Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, Sinatraland Big Band conducted by Terry Woodson with Peter Erskine and Michael Dees, The Heath Brothers, Dan Barrett, Shelly Berg, Holly Hofmann Quartet with Strings in a Duke Ellington Tribute, Jeff Hamilton Trio, Marlena Shaw, Jackie Ryan with the Tamir Hendelman Trio, Barbara Morrison, Bill Henderson, Byron Stripling, Houston Person, Lewis Nash, Chuck Berghofer, Gilbert Castellanos, Bill Cunliffe, Graham Dechter, Llew Matthews, Roy McCurdy, Nicki Parrott, John Proulx, Rickey Woodard, Mike Wofford, Ron Eschete, Luther Hughes, Christine Guter's Pacific Standard Time, the CSULB Concert Jazz Orchestra conducted by Jeff Jarvis and many more.

In addition to this year's Party featuring more artists, big bands and vocalists than ever before, Saturday, Feb. 13 will feature a first-time-ever Battle of the Big Bands between UCLA and USC jazz orchestras conducted by Charley Harrison and Bob Mintzer. The downbeat will take place at 1:45pm and for those who wear their school attire, they will receive a 25% ticket discount; plus students (w/proof of ID) will receive a 50% discount on Saturday Pool Session tickets.
